I put off everything

I constantly put off everything. I never do what I am supposed to do at work or at home or anywhere on time. I wait around for someone else to do it. I thank them and praise them for taking initiative. I never intend to do anything I suggest. I don't see any point in it. I can't stop myself. I feel disconnected and don't care though. I have no idea how to fix this.
