Adultery

Bless me FATHER in HEAVEN for I have sinned. I have committed the sin of adultery 10 years ago. Prior to that I was promiscuous. I am a very confused Catholic. I want the Lord to forgive me. I want to receive Holy Communion again, I want to be closer to Jesus, but I can't get past this horrible guilt. What I did was wrong and I am very sorry. Sorry to the point of being physically ill. I pray that Jesus will forgive me.
